So first off I enjoy this author and preorder every time. So this has been sitting for a while and I finally picked it up to read and I ended up finishing in one go. Let me just say I hate Philip and everything about him. They just weren’t met to be. I loved the connect she had with Brayden you can feel it in your writing. 4 stars because near the end it seems a tad rushed when you should of extended it out a little. Other then that it was super good and I hope you don’t ever write a book about Philip & Mindy because I definitely probably won’t read it! Lol looking forward to Cams book!! - Must read. I have love the books about all the Wilde boys and their romance and wives. Braden helped her in high school and she never forgot him and wishes she saw him again and years later she does. He still is attracted to her but she engaged.She calls off the engagement and tells him how she feels. She changed her whole life after the break up. She was brave to make such huge changes. I felt the pain she went thru in high school and with her ex finance and the attraction they fought off until the engagement was off. I can't wait to read the next book about Cam.
- This was an excellent book. I will recommend her to anyone who loves to read. She keeps you involved from page one until the end.

Happy Reading! - Leleila and Brayden meet twelve years ago when she went to a high school party and when things got out of control he rescues her and they share a kiss that she has never forgotten. Now twelve years later he teaches high school PE and help coach the football team while she is engaged and just failed her PhD and now works for her sister at her grocery store. Her fiancee Philip is so boring and dull and they hardly spend any time together and he even wants Brayden to take dance lessons with her because he is too busy. Brayden likes Leleila and wants to be her friend because he sees how lonely she is and has even settled for Philip because her parents approved of him. Great story with several issues relivent today and loved the characters.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. - Brayden Wild grew up playing football with his Wild cousins Dylan and Colton. But he knew even as a young man that at heart, he was a cowboy first and a footballer second, which is why he didn’t go pro and us coaching high school football and working at the organic grocery store to buy his own place.
Leleila met Brayden 12 years ago on her worst night. They kissed and he made it all better, though he never knew her name. Now, she’s about to marry an utterly boring man, who is never there for her emotionally or physically. She’s getting married in one month and then going to Africa.
Brayden has one month to be her friend, her dance partner and no more, even though every time she’s near him, she ends up in his arms.

I voluntarily reviewed this book. - This story is beautifully written.it's an emotional rollercoaster ride to find happiness and love. When Leleila decided to go to the party for the football players it went against everything that made her who she is.But she let a girl she thought was a friend talk her into it.She helped a football player keep in the team and he was cute and being a nerd she had a crush on the quarterback.So when she was standing there she saw a gorgeous guy from the other school he has blonde hair and the most beautiful blue eyes .But then Noah the guy from her school handed her a glass of beer and just as she thought about drinking it she thought it could have the date rape drug in it so she poured it out and started to walk away when Noah grabbed her pushing her into a room slamming the door throwing her on the bed she jumped up and ran for the door but he shoved her against the door sticking his tongue in her mouth tearing her jeans down grabbing her underwear and trying to shove his fingers into her he said she was a tease and he was going to get what he wanted she remember her self defense slammed her elbow into his face and then knees to his junk and a kick to his gut and she ran out of the room right into a wall of muscle he asked if she was ok and told her to stay there he was going to make sure the guy didn't get up for awhile but she begged him to stay with her.Brayden wanted to protect her it killed him how sad her eyes were .He asked if she was hurt anywhere he couldn't see but she said she was ok.He pulled her to the side so she could fix her clothes.Then she said she had to get out of there he helped her.When he touched her cheek so tenderly an asked again if she was ok she looked into his beautiful eyes and she kissed him at first he was shocked but then he kissed her so softly she kissed him like there was no tomorrow.Then she felt his arousal she ran away.Twelve years later Brayden works part time for Leleilas sister and as a coach for high school football he gets a shock when someone spill granola on his head as she says she's sorry he realizes it's the beautiful Leleila after twelve years she's even more beautiful.But when they start getting close he finds out she's engaged to a selfish idiot but he won't cross the line .Will he help her open her eyes to what she really wants?Will she admit she never loved her fiancee that he felt safe?Will she break it off with her fiancee because she knows he doesn't love her either?Will Bearden finally get the woman he fell in love with when they were in high school?The story touches on so much,rape,drugs ,alcohol abuse and controlling people wanting to use others for their own benefit.I love the way this amazing author brings the characters to life before your eyes and makes you feel their emotions and pain.I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.I voluntarily decided to review this advanced reader copy because it's a great adult romance story and I wanted other avid readers to know it's so worth reading.
